WATER IS PRECIOUS!

If there was only 1 gallon of water left in the entire world and it was being auctioned off, I wonder what the highest bid would be? One million, or maybe 10 million. Water can become a very precious commodity.
I know of a certain rich man that would have given millions just for one drop of water.
The Bible records the account in the book of Luke, chapter 16, verse 24: And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But there is one thing that is very puzzling about this account, why would this rich man, that fared sumptuously every day and was used to the finer things in life, ask for JUST ONE DROP?

I can truly say that I found out the answer to this question the hard way. On a Thursday March 16, 2006, my life would be changed forever. On this day I was down in the basement of my house trying to light a hot water heater when there was a great explosion of propane gas. Much propane gas had leaked out into the room without my knowledge; and, when I pushed an igniter button that one spark rocked our entire house! The doors to my office were blown away, double doors to the outside were blown 35 feet out into the back yard. By a miracle of God, I did not suffer from the blast. It was just like there was a shield in front of me, and the blast went out from me. I do not have time to tell you, in this tract, of all the miracles that happened that day. But I would like to tell you of what I learned about one drop of water!
The fire never touched me (Thank GOD!) It went out away from me! But the heat was so great that it gave me 1st & 2nd degree burns  on my hands, arms, and face. Within a matter of hours my head and face were so badly blistered and disfigured that my own relatives walked by me in the hospital and did not know who I was.
On the way to the hospital in the ambulance one thing stood out in my memory: how terrible the pain was from the fire. Words will never be able to describe the pain. Morphine did not put a dent in it. But there was one thing that brought comfort, WATER! The nice EMT worker had a couple of bags of saline water, and she began to let the water trickle down my face and arms. Oh what sweet comfort!
I was literally begging  during the whole trip "Please don't stop!" But because of the supply and proper procedure, she would only allow drops at a time. Amazingly just drops of water made a  huge difference. NOW I UNDERSTAND why drops of water were so important to the rich man!

Millions will cry for water one day!

Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

1. But Jesus has made a way for you to miss out on this terrible destruction. Rom. 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
2. Are you willing to admit that you are a sinner? If so there is HOPE!Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
3. You can do it right now! Rom. 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
4. Pray this prayer and be saved  "Dear Lord Jesus I repent of my sins, please forgive me and come into my heart and save me, Amen"
According to God's word you are saved!
